Chandee and Alexis are supportive coaches delivering personalised training with care, specialising in women over 30.
Chandee Thorburn
When Chandee isn’t with clients, she’s usually lifting heavy (deadlifts are her favourite), running, sunbathing, or dining out — she’s a self-confessed foodie. Her favourite cuisine is Thai food (she’s half Thai, so she’s a little biased).
She’s a dog person through and through and could happily talk about Harry Potter forever. Having travelled to 53 countries, Turkey remains her favourite destination.
Chandee is known for her disciplined yet balanced approach to training and life. She values consistency over extremes, believes fitness should enhance life rather than restrict it, and brings a calm, supportive presence to every session.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Alexis Evans
Alexis brings energy and personality to everything she does. Push-ups are her favourite exercise, she’s firmly a cats-over-dogs person, and steak is always her meal of choice.
Outside the gym, Japan is her favourite place to travel, Sinbad is her all-time favourite movie, and spiders are a definite fear. She can also play the viola — a fun skill that surprises most people.
Alexis doesn’t take herself too seriously though; she once fell backwards down a double black diamond ski run in Queenstown while wearing a lion onesie, in full view of the chairlift, and somehow became famous for two days.
Working hours: early mornings and evenings
